Rooms are generally clean, tucked away in a peaceful spot right by the lake 🌊.

The location to the Navy Base

For the most part it was great except being double charged on my credit card which put me in a finacial bind for my trip.

It was clean place, staff were polite and welcoming, and I greatly enjoyed my recently renovated room.

The hotel features modern rooms with a sofa bed and efficient AC. The staff is extremely friendly and amicable. The location is perfectly situated near a wonderful local restaurant called North Chicago and the lake.

No clean towels, no house keeping in 3 days i was there free breakfast was a joke you could never find the staff was not at the front desk i would never stay there again and a 15 % tax never again will we stay there

Location in regards to Gurnee Mills and Great America.

Staff was clueless, took 45 minutes to check in with my Booked.net reservation. Said I didn't have one, and then tried to charge me full price.

Situated in a new area, the accommodating staff and close proximity to a private school made our stay here marvelous.

When I called the motel to confirm my reservation on the evening I was to arrive they had no information on my reservation from Booked.net even though I gave them the confirmation number

days inn great lakes charged me for my stay and booking charge me too way did i have to pay to pay too times $69.39 that not right somebody tell why that .

The recently renovated room was stylish with large towels, the staff was exceptionally welcoming and available, and the location felt cozy and secure next to the train tracks.

Nice big room, very clean, new king sized bed, helpful staff.

Housekeeping tried to get in the room an hour before checkout as my wide and I were making love, the carpet and tables were old and worn, the 'breakfast' was very lame, and the selection for coffee before we left was definitely lackluster at best, we stopped at McDonalds just to get a decent black coffee.

It was located 5 minutes away from Naval base where husbands graduation was going on.

Service was poor, unfriendly staff. Rooms where not cleaned daily. Dead bult on one of the 2 rooms booked was broken. Very poor service was not satisfied at all.

The staff here were really friendly and super helpful. The best part was the location - it's right by the train tracks, so getting around was a breeze. I booked a queen room and was pleasantly surprised to find a huge king size bed waiting for me! 🌟

Not a satisfactory stay

The building is in serious need of a revamp.. The carpet is ancient and there's an odor throughout the place. For the price I paid the room should have been vastly better. There was broken furniture, the hair dryer fell off the wall during the night, the paint on the walls was patchy, and the list goes on. The TV signal was poor and the volume adjusted itself. The WiFi was unreliable and dropped out more times than I bother to recall. Oh, and they ran out of food for breakfast and did not have any back up, so I had to go out and pay for breakfast elsewhere. The front desk staff did not offer any compensation, which I think is poor service.

Staff was friendly, person plowing the snow was chaotic and scary.

Pillows were hard and very uncomfortable, hallway smelled like smoke.
